NCLEX prep, all in one place.

Two products under one roof. For studying: 1,187 original practice questions for the NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-PN — every one triple-checked — with practice by topic, timed exams, flashcards, and study mode. Every question passed the same gauntlet: written fresh for this site, checked by its author, then solved cold — twice — by independent reviewers who committed to an answer before ever seeing the key. A question only ships when both solvers agree with the key and neither can defend another option. Anything that fails waits in an expert-review queue; it is never quietly shipped and never padded into the count. Flagged or under-review items are never drawn for practice. As students answer, each question builds a live record — difficulty, discrimination, which wrong answers pull hardest — and anything that misbehaves gets flagged for human review, never auto-deleted.

The bank keeps growing. A good NCLEX question takes a nursing educator hours to write — and longer to get right. SI drafts new questions on a regular cadence, and every one runs the same gauntlet before it reaches you. Your practice never goes stale.

The question bank is the student's product: 1,187 original questions, practice by topic, and timed exams — yours to work through at your own pace.

What is the NCLEX?

The NCLEX (National Council Licensure Examination) is the nationwide examination nursing graduates must pass to earn a nursing license — the NCLEX-RN for registered nurses and the NCLEX-PN for practical/vocational nurses. It is developed and owned by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) and delivered by Pearson VUE in a computerized adaptive format, testing the knowledge, skills, and judgment needed for safe entry-level practice.

Our read: everything on this site is unofficial practice material — original questions written for SI Nursing, not the official exam. For authoritative exam details, start with NCSBN.

Next Generation NCLEX, covered. The bank includes NGN-style item types alongside traditional multiple choice: select-all-that-apply and trend questions (exact-match scoring — all correct selections required, no partial credit), plus bow-tie and cloze items with one dropdown per blank (every blank must be correct). Flagged or under-review items are never drawn.

The eight Client Needs categories

The NCLEX test plan organizes content into eight Client Needs categories — Management of Care, Safety and Infection Control, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Psychosocial Integrity, Basic Care and Comfort, Pharmacological and Parenteral Therapies, Reduction of Risk Potential, and Physiological Adaptation. Every category gets its own study bank and timed practice block in Exam Admin.

Write the questions

The bank's faculty side: draft original questions one at a time with Nick, keep your own library, build assignments, and see exactly how every question performs.

Who sees what: faculty run the toolkit — they author, assign, and analyze. Students see only what's assigned to them: their own exams, assignments, and results.

He's on every page — and he knows which product you're in

For students, Nick explains the questions you miss, coaches your study plan day by day, and drills you on NGN item types. For faculty, he drafts and reviews questions, answers item-writing questions from the actual NCLEX test plan, and helps you read your analytics.
